Limerick Loop
121 Miles of Technical Climbs, Tar Hollow Grit, and No Easy Answers
OHIO
The Limerick Loop is a 121.66-mile, 6–7 hour route that showcases the most demanding terrain in southeastern Ohio. Anchored by the gnarly trails of Tar Hollow State Forest—including Pleasant Ridge Road and Election Road—this loop pushes both driver and machine. Balanced by smoother gravel stretches near Richland Furnace State Park, it offers moments of relief between intense sections. For those equipped with 33” tires, proper armor, and strong line-picking skills, the Limerick Loop delivers the most “spicy” and rewarding off-road experience of the group.
